Hello my dear subscribers, I am really happy to have you guys here.

This blog post will be a long one because it comprise  a lot things you need to know about making money on the internet.

I will cover aspects such as Internet Marketing, Blogging, freelancing and mini importation.

Making money on the Internet is what I do for a living and I do it zealously and get desired results.

I have invested a lot of time, energy and money to acquire the basic knowledge of internet marketing and I also strive to improve as each day passes by.

I started making money on fiverr.com before I went into internet marketing. To be frank with you, Online marketing is one of the best business I have ever seen so far.

Now, What Is This Internet Marketing Business of a Thing?

Internet Marketing is the act of utilizing the internet to sell products and services. You could be selling physical goods, e products, or even services online.

In this aspect of internet marketing we shall be talking about INFORMATION MARKETING.

Information marketing involves the act of researching and compiling useful information that will help to solve the problem of a particular group of people.

Information comes in various formats such as
A. videos
B. Seminars
C. Telephone consulting
D. Ebooks
E. Manuals
F. Audio recordings
G. One on One Consulting and so on...

Any way you choose to give out your information depends on the kind of info you are giving out or the people who want it.

People always come to seek for information online and you should ask yourself, how can I help this people and in so doing you can exchange your information for money.

You are probably here because you want to make more money or you want to use the internet to create wealth for yourself.

Others come online because
1. They want to lose weight
2. They want to cure infertility
3. They want a better sex or marriage life
4. They want a job
5. They want to cure diseases.
6. They want to school abroad

If you can actually provide useful information to these set of information seekers, they will be more than ready to pay you for what you know.

You do not really need to write books to sell online, there are books that comes as Private label Rights books where you can buy the rights to the book and also input your name as the author and make necessary changes.

Well, I write most of my books because I am good at that, but you must not be Wole Soyinka or Chinua Achebe before you can start this business. People just need the basic info from you.

Information online are more expensive than the text books we buy offline. Does this sound awkward to you? No it shouldn't! Ebook for example can be only 40 pages but cost N4,000 but a text book of 300 pages printed may cost just N2,000 in the market.

To start up this kind of business you need to be really interested in it.
 
What You should  do to run this business successfully!

1. You should install microsoft frontpage software on your computer.
You need it for building websites.

2. You should learn how to set up sales pages and squeeze pages. You need all this.

3. You should get a web hosting account from web hosting companies  like bluehost,
hostgator.com, web4africa.com and many others. just choose any one.

4. You should register a free 30 day trial autoresponder with getresponse.com or
start with 1 dollar trial with aweber.com . These are the best auto responder companies
I recommend.

5. You should keep aside small advert cash. Yes, you need advert cash to expose your business
to others.

6. You should know how to advertise. The paid means of driving traffic and the free means of
driving traffic to your website. Traffic means website visitors.

7. You need a domain name. You can get it from your web host.

1. Keywords: It signifies the words people usually key in to google search or any other search engine when seeking for information. 5. Sales page : A sales page is like your Shop boy  on the internet. It is your page that you show to people when you want them to buy from you. This page must be persuasive enough to grab the attention of the site visitors and convince them to buy what you have to offer. 6. Squeeze/ Optin Page : A squeeze page is the page That you tell people of what you want to offer them for free in exchange for their contact details. It could be Free tips, free report, free training you intend to give them. It also contains the form where people will have to fill in their contact details such as name and email address and in some cases even phone numbers. Although some squeeze pages will only ask for email addresses alone. Example of squeeze page is THIS

7. Micro soft frontpage : This is the soft ware you will need to design your websites such as your sales pages and optin pages.

8. Pdf software: ebooks are preferable in pdf formats and you will need a software for converting microsoft word documents to pdfs. Example of such software is the Pdf Gun machine.

9. Ads: Ads refers to adverts.

10. List: This refers to the number of subcribers you have built. You are part of my list.

11. Blog: A blog is a dynamic site. You can keep writing new pages and sharing your thoughts 

Online business is easy if you know the way it works.

Blogging: According to wikipedia A blog (a truncation of the expression weblog) is a discussion or informational site published on the World Wide Web and consisting of discrete entries ("posts") typically displayed in reverse chronological order (the most recent post appears first).

Blog is a good way of disseminating information to people. When people start getting reasonable traffic to their blogs they start monetizing it. I mean that they start creating ways to make money from it by applying for google adsense and allowing for advert spaces on their blogs.

If you are just starting out with Blogging, you may do well by promoting your blog, Advertise it so that people will know you have a blog. At the early stages you will have to spend money but with time the money will that coming because you have built traffic to your blog.

You can set up blogs using www.blogger.com or www.wordpress.com. They are the two common types. This blog you are on now is powered by Blogger.

Affiliate Marketing:

This involves helping other people sell their products for a commission. You can agree a 40% to 60% share of the sales. It just depends on the agreement. You can help a marketer sell his product worth N4,000. You take N1,500 and the marketer takes N2,000. It is a joint Venture business.

ONLINE STORES

Online stores are like shops or super markets on the internet. They can be selling a type of product or different types of products. Examples are Jumai. Konga, Kaymu, Xploreebooks.com , privatelabelrights.com etc

FREELANCE;

Freelance involves offering services on the internet. Most freelancers work with websites such as fiverr.com , odesk, freelancer, gigbucks.com , craiglist, indeed.com, mashable etc. 

So do you have a special skill of typing, designing, offering SEO services etc, just go on and make it happen with those websites listed above.

Talking about Fiverr.com

I love fiverr so much, as a matter of fact it is one of the best freelance websites for Nigerians. On fiverr you offer a service ( called a gig in fiverr) for $5 you get $4 eventually and $1 goes to the website owners. Different gigs are offered on fiverr.com. Examples include I will stand with your picture in from of white house for $5. The gigs always starts with "I WILL". You can check out the site at your free time.

Listen my dear friend, If you want to make real money online, you must first focus on one business
