Hello dear,

Today I shall be talking about becoming a wealthy person. I really love financial talks because we all need it. Every body needs money and other material possessions, but only few people are privilege to have it.

What is Wealth?

Wealth is the abundance of available resources or available material possessions. Most wealthy people are generally influential.

Wealth, everyone wants to have it, but only few people knows what to do in order to get there. Becoming rich is a combination of luck, skill and patience. You have to be at least a little lucky, you build on that luck with your skillful decisions, and than you continue weathering the storm as your wealth grows.

We are not going to lie to you, getting RICH isn't easy- but with a little bit of perseverance with the RIGHT INFORMATION you will get there.

I am not talking about inherited wealth here ( I regard this as baby wealth) , I am talking about wealth that you achieve for yourself ( I regard this as mature wealth).

There are certain reasons why people remain poor, or they do not become Rich.
These include;

1.  They do not save money (They either lavish it on women or on unnecessary things).
You need to put money into an account that you don't touch. Keep money aside that you spend and keep another in an account that you wont touch.

2. They do not have a Budget: 
Many Nigerian do not have a plan for their money. having a monthly or weekly plan concerning your expenditure is very essential to your financial success.

3. Stop Showing off, learn to cut your coats to your size:
 Many people in Nigeria are of the habit of showing off. They want to compete for fashion or be admired by others at the expense of their pockets. If you cannot reasonably afford something, do not go for it. Do not try to impress others, your time will surely come.

4. Investments: If you have money, it will be wise to invest in profitable businesses that will yield you a good return on your investment. Many people who think they have money do not seek ways to increase their earnings. let me tell you something my dear, naira value may continue to fall, this is not my prayer though, but it's the economy. So you have to always think of ways to invest in businesses and various projects that will yield you good cash in the long run.

5. In order to become wealthy, also try to excel academically:
Whether it is a four year course or vocational training,  some people pursue further education after completion of university. In some cases, higher qualifications or grades usually lead to bigger pay cheque.

6. Love your work: You really need to love what you are doing. if you think you want to join mr A in his business because he is successful at it without following your passion, you will hardly be as successful as him. Follow your dream. your passion. Enjoying doing what you really love doing and your hobby will eventually turn to your wealth.

7. Choose the right location:
It is important to be in a place where there are opportunities for you to succeed. Many people die off with their skill and talent in the rural areas because nobody sees them and there is no platform for them to showcase what they are really made of.  

8.Make friends with the right people:
In order to be wealthy, you need friends that have focus in life. you need to make friends with people that are also on top. With this, you might find favour. Making friends with lazy and unambitious people is like laying a casket of failure for yourself.

9. Many people are not good givers:
Giving to people is the most essential element for wealth. It is more blessed to give than to receive. many people do not like giving out things but love to collect from others. Start giving today, especially valuable items and see how your life will transform. It may be a hard task though, but it pays eventually. When giving, do it from your heart and not just because of what you have read about wealth here.
